As in many sectors, there are technological developments and advancements in the refrigeration industry, which we are part of. In addition, there are regulations regarding the production and use of refrigeration devices, especially in the European Union countries. These new regulations have been prepared with the primary objective of making refrigeration devices more efficient to consume less energy and reduce their negative impact on the environment as a result of greenhouse gas emissions, considering the increasing energy demand and environmental pollution worldwide. The production and use of refrigeration devices have been evolving based on a transition schedule under criteria such as the F-Gas regulation, the European Union Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC, Ecodesign regulation 2015/1095, and the EN13215 standard, which defines the efficiency of refrigeration devices.
